rinanda r.a shaleha

My name is Rinanda Rizky Amalia Shaleha. I am from Indonesia and currently reside in Pennsylvania, United States. I am a Ph.D. candidate at the College of Health and Human Development, Pennsylvania State University, proudly supported by Fulbright Scholarship. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Universitas Brawijaya and a master’s from Universitas Gadjah Mada.

My research journey

My research interests have developed over time, and they reflect my curiosity about human behavior and development in different settings. During my undergraduate and master’s studies in Psychology, I explored various topics, which gave me a foundation for learning and growth. As I transitioned into my Ph.D. program, I began to focus on exploring the relationships between technology use, particularly screen use behavior, and its effects on cognition and mental health throughout the lifespan. I am especially interested in utilizing Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA) to capture real-time data and gain deeper insights into these dynamics. This journey reflects my commitment to improving digital well-being and promoting healthier interactions with technology for meaningful contributions to human development.
